The new oak has contributed a few special aromas to the Lambic: notes of wood caramel like in cognac and smoky vanilla flavors like in some whiskeys. The wild yeasts in the Lambiek of this VAT 86 in turn provided well-complementary flavors / aromas, especially some peach and tropical fruit. Untappd 4.24.
